Adopt-A-Pet
The Heart of America Humane Society is an organization coordinated and managed entirely by volunteers who, outside of their
regular jobs, contribute effort to see that shelter animals are responsibly placed into new homes. There is no Heart of America
"central office" or other facility as a working "headquarters".
The Heart of America Humane Society hosts Adopt-A-Pet Adoption Events at satellite locations in and around the Kansas City Metro Area. Adopt-A-Pet Adoption Events are held regularly at PETCO in Olathe, PETsMART in Overland Park and PETsMART at Ward Parkway Mall.
Adopt-A-Pet Adoption events may be held at any of the locations shown below, but not at all locations simultaneously or consistently every weekend; check our online calendar for exact dates and times.

| Adoptions: Dog adoptions on Saturday from Noon to 3pm. Cat adoptions on Saturday & Sunday from Noon to 3pm. Cats are also housed at the store and available during the week by contacting the foster parent listed on the cage. |
