How To Help

TentEvent200x161Heart of America Humane Society provides shelter, complete care, and medication for all animals in our foster homes and work diligently to find permanent, loving homes for foster animals and animals abandoned at two area animal shelters.
Since Heart of America Humane Society is a 100 percent volunteer organization, we rely on our local community to support our efforts to provide safe and healthy foster homes for the animals in our care and reduce the local stray pet population.
If you would like to help our animals, the Heart of America Humane Society would love to have your support. The menu at the left provides a number of options for assistance.
Volunteering is a good hands on approach to helping the animals. After all, everyone is a volunteer. If you are really interested in the hands on approach and are willing to provide a temporary home for a homeless animal. Fostering is a good way to make a difference in an animals life.
Not enough time in the day, a monetary donation helps cover the expenses related to the care and adoption of the animals. We always are in need of specific items on our Wish List, and supporting our fund-raising events is another great way to help us.
