Our Outreach Team is a boots on the ground approach to improving the lives of animals in underserved areas within Kansas City Metro. Our program focuses on building trusting relationships with pet owners through education on city ordinances, importance of spay/neuter and providing essential items such as food, flea/tick prevention, straw, shelter, cable tie-outs to replace chains and more.
Some people have to make the tough decision and choose between paying bills, feeding children or feeding pets. This is where we come in. We want to keep pets with people who love them but may be experiencing life events.
In addition, we support a foster based program for animals to go to should they be surrendered or displaced. All animals are in foster homes as we do not have a brick and mortar.
