Dear Volunteers, Supporters, and Friends of Heart of America Humane Society,

As we bid farewell to another year, it is with heartfelt gratitude and immense pride that we extend our sincerest thanks to each one of you. Your unwavering dedication, generous donations, and compassionate service have been the cornerstone of our mission to improve the lives of animals in our community.

This year, through your efforts, we have achieved remarkable milestones. We are thrilled to share that 602 pets found their forever homes, a testament to the love and care provided by our incredible network of fosters and volunteers. Your commitment to these animals during their most vulnerable times has not only changed their lives but has also enriched the lives of their new families.

Our Outreach Team has been a beacon of hope and support in the community, successfully aiding 850 residences. Providing supplies like shelter, straw, food, cable tie outs, and resources for free Spay and Neuter through Fix’Em KC. This remarkable accomplishment reflects our collective commitment to not just animal welfare, but to the wellbeing of our community as a whole.

A special commendation goes to our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) team, whose tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of 540 cats. Your contributions have been instrumental in controlling the feral cat population, thereby promoting a healthier and safer environment for both the cats and the community.

As we look towards the future, we remain optimistic and excited for the year ahead. The challenges we face only strengthen our resolve to continue our mission. We eagerly anticipate building upon our successes and forging new paths in animal welfare.

In closing, please accept our deepest gratitude for your invaluable contributions. It is your passion, dedication, and generosity that fuel our mission and make a tangible difference in the lives of so many animals. Together, we have accomplished so much, and together, we will continue to make a significant impact in the years to come.

With warmest regards and best wishes for a Happy New Year,

Janet Franklin, President, Heart of America Humane Society
